The Black Marker Project is a visually expressive black and white photography project meant to capture personal ideologies and the individuals that believe in them.
The Black Marker Project Team chooses the questions they would like to pose to participants annually. There are three questions currently taking center stage:
What does knowledge mean to you?
What does ownership mean to you?
What does voting mean to you?
Participants are asked to write their responses with black marker onto a white board. We photograph their responses in an effort to create dialogue and connect the community to Greensboro and Greensboro to the world.
